This was my 4th year of using my FB status to say what I am thankful for on every day from Nov. 1st until Thanksgiving. This year, I used all 30 days. Here's the list:
1. The season of Fall (in Portland)
2. Portland (and the opportunity to move here); at first it was about getting out of AZ, but now, it's really about how awesome it is to be here.
3. The MOST AMAZING husband EVER!
4. Fridays
5. My funny, smart, beautiful, crazy, silly, and often obnoxious kids.
6. Imago Dei Community--how amazing it is to be a part of this body of believers! And serving the preschoolers here. LOVE IT!
7. Extra credit points on essays. A's in both classes (thus far)
8. Music
9. My house
10. 3-day weekend
11. My Dad and other veterans who have risked their lives to protect this nation!
12. The internet
13. To be able to worship God without the fear of being beaten, put in jail, or being killed.
14. My wonderful mother!
15. My amazing friends!
16. Being flare-up free for 15 months! (17 months is the record.....let's beat it!)
17. Free time
18. Ways to stay warm as the weather gets colder moving into winter
19. Kids let me sleep in until 8:30 today (this is a VERY rare thing)
20. Abundance of food
21. To be a Stay-at-home-Mom
22. The mini-break from school, and that this hellish quarter is almost done!
23. That my husband has Thanksgiving off for the first time since 2007!
24. To be content in Christ.
25. The unexpected sunny day, just in time for the Portland tree lighting!
26. Grandparents and the traditions they pass on
27. Chocolate :)
28. Books (those unrelated to school especially!)
29. Getting more than 4 hours of sleep for the first time in weeks.
30. Opportunity to live, to love, to serve, to learn, to read, to write, to laugh, to cry, to walk, to see, to listen, to hope, and to dream.
